He was playing indoor soccer, with his scout troop and the young men at church, and fell on his wrist. It damaged his scaphoid bone in his wrist. He has to wear the cast for 3 weeks, then get another xray to see if he needs to wear the cast longer.
This is not Josh's xray. This is courtesy google images. The scaphoid is in what is called the Snuffbox of your hand. (interesting.)
